Oisín McLean is a musician and multi-instrumentalist
from Donegal, Ireland. Growing up in a musical family
he became familiar with the Irish music
at an early age.
During his extended travels through Eastern and
Western Europe he developed himself as an all-round
folk and blues musician – a songster.
Oisín currently focuses on American blues and
‘old-time’ music: songs about women, drink, love and hardship.
He also specializes in interpreting lesser known pearls
from the folk tradition.
This, combined with the odd Irish ballad
and a capturing stage personality, adds
up to an exceptional and intimate concert
experience which cannot be forgotten easily.
Over the last fifteen years Oisín has performed
in Ireland, England, Sweden, Czech Republic,
Hungary and Holland, where he currently resides.
